What better time to journey with Joshua to the Holy Land?
Join us this Lent as we read Joseph Girzone’s Joshua in the Holy Land. As in the past, the parish will have some copies of the book available for purchase – please contact Ann Lahiff (annlahiff7@aol.com) to reserve your copy. We will plan to meet on a Sunday morning after Easter to discuss this book.
Happy Reading!
Pantry of Hope
and CRS Rice Bowl
PANTRY of HOPE: Our neighbors at the First Baptist Church seek donations of canned goods and shelf stable items, with a special need for small canned hams and pineapples for Easter Dinner. Please bring your donations to the Food Bins in the church. Grocery gift cards can be left in the basket on the table at the rear of the Church.
CRS RICE BOWL: During this holy time, we
are called to pause and pay closer attention to
our relationship with God and our neighbors. Reflect on how the Lenten pillars of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving can guide your journey and how the Eucharist helps us to live in solidarity with our sisters and brothers around the world. Visit crsricebowl.org to learn more and read this week’s Story of Hope.
Eight-Week Combined Parish Bereavement Program
This spring, Incarnation and Most Blessed Sacrament Parishes will co-sponsor an eight-session Bereavement Program. Among the topics are: symptoms of grief, different ways people grieve, dealing with feelings of anger and guilt, and how to get through holidays and special occasions. Meetings will be held at Incarnation Church, Melrose, on Tuesday evenings, 7:30-9:00 pm, from March 19 to May 7. Our reunion meeting will be on June 4th.
Pat McConville, trained in bereavement and pastoral issues, and Christine Primiano, also experienced in supporting the bereaved, will facilitate the group. Please call Pat (781-454-5394) to learn more about the program or to register.
Most Blessed Sacrament
Bereavement Support Group
The ongoing MBS Parish Bereavement Support Group, facilitated by Ellen Meehan and Chris Carlson, meets monthly, on the 3rd Wednesday, from 7:00-8:30 pm. Currently, we gather in the Conference Room at Incarnation Church; once repairs are completed, we will return to MBS.
If your life has been impacted by the loss of a
family member or close friend, please plan to join us – all are welcome. For more information about the group, please call Chris (617-957-1985) or Ellen (781-526-4471) .

About Us
WELCOME TO INCARNATION!
We are from near and far. We are married couples, single persons, widows, widowers, and religious sisters and brothers living in community. We have young children, we are raising teenagers, we take care of our aging parents, and some of us are empty-nesters!
Learning
A CREATIVE APPROACH TO RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Our Generations of Faith (“GOF”) program incorporates all learning in our parish, from Adult Formation such as Friday morning Scripture; to Sacrament Preparation and grade-level classes for children. Central to our program are the four GOF learning events we have each year.
